The Hospital Quality & Efficiency Program (HQEP) is an agreement between Augusta Care Partners and Augusta Health that is designed to manage costs and improve quality for the health system. Success in the program is determined by the network’s performance against a defined measure set. If targets are met, Augusta Care Partners is able to share in generated savings and distribute that “shared savings” via incentive payments to eligible network providers. Current performance indicates a projected distribution of over $250k to qualifying network providers.

If you are a physician, independent practitioner, or advanced practice provider in our network (as of February 2018), you can earn a portion of any distribution generated in HQEP by meeting the incentive requirements listed here.
The Tier 1 incentive requirements for 2018 include attending an HCC Coding & Risk Adjustment CME offering. If you have not already attended one of these programs, please plan to join us at one of the following:
- May 30 @ 5:30pm in the Mannix Conference Room (Heart & Vascular Center)
- June 20 @ 5:30pm in the Mannix Conference Room (Heart & Vascular Center)
If you are curious about what requirements you have already met, you can view the provider level incentive dashboard here.
Below you will find a dashboard of our network’s year-to-date performance* in the 2018 HQEP program. Measure baselines (“Base”), actual performance (“YTD”), and goals (“Targets”) are shown. The Indicator shows if Target 1 or Target 2 has been met. Additionally, any projected distribution based on current performance will be detailed in the far-right column. Definitions for each of the metrics can be found here.
*results are current through the end of April, with the exception of Patient Satisfaction, Pneumonia Readmissions, and Health Plan metrics, which represent performance through March due to data availability.
